Faraos dam is the successful Holstein dam Tres Bien. Tres Bien really lives up to her name when it comes to her pedigree. It is truly excellent. One of the strong parts of her pedigree is definitely her dam Gera VII (by Leonid). No less than two of her four offspring jump internationally at 1.60m-level. Catwalk (by Caretino) who was born in ’97, was successful at 1.60m-level under Christian Ahlmann (GER).

The KWPN and the Oldenburg, Hannover and Westfalen studbook approved Faraos sire Rousseau. Rousseau was placed seventh at the stallion show in ‘s-Hertogenbosch in 2001 and got sold to America for 300.000,- guilders. But he stayed in The Netherlands for quite a while. Together with rider Nicolette van Lierop the combination won the PAVO Cup. As a five year old he was the reserve champion at the World Championships for young horses. Rousseau moved to America in 2006.
