Jambalya’s sire is jumping talent Zirocco Blue. He won many prices together with rider Jur Vrieling including the Grand Prix of Geesteren, Vestfold and Copenhagen. He is prominent as a sire, also abroad. His offspring received applause because of their power and jumping abilities during the Holstein stallion keuring in the fall of 2014.

Jambalya is a daughter out of the Holstein ster-mare Waretina. She is a daughter of the best jumping horse producers of his generation: Caretino. The stud produced international talents as Chandra (Sören von Rönne), Ballerina (Markus Merschformann), Casall la Silla (Rolf-Göran Bengtsson) and Cristallo (Richard Spooner).

Waretina’s great grand dam produced no less than four approved stallions at nine different studbooks. They are the stallions Silbergraf, Lawrence, Castillion and Caretissimo.
