Japeloupa
Zapatero VDL x Wellington
Japeloupa has many talented half brothers and sisters. Malba’s first foal was Re’Alba (by Galoubet A). This prestatie-mare is KWPN-listed in the top 200 mares with between 1 and 4 offspring active in sport. Re’Alba produced, amongst others, the jumper Viper VDL (by Pacific), that jumped 1.60m-level under Italian rider Matteo Cialdi. Wilford VDL (by Marlon) is also one of her sons. Wilford VDL won several 1.60m-classes under both Denis Lynch and Jos Lansink.
The well-known elite sport mare Waliba VDL (by Quite Easy I), ridden by American rider Danielle Goldstein, is also one of Malba’s daughters. They are currently competing at 1.60m-level and were part of the winning team during the FTI Consulting Winter Equestrian Festival Nespresso Battle of the Sexes in Wellington (USA) at the beginning of 2014.
Japeloupas sire is Zapatero VDL. He made his Grand Prix debut with Angelique Hoorn and is currently successfully ridden by Jessica Kuerten at international Grand Prix level.
